This young family wanted to enjoy their back yard space by creating a walkout deck that spanned the back of the home.
First, the small, old deck was removed and replaced with a full cedar deck. Extra wide steps leading from the back door serve as double role as additional seating space, and stairs from the deck create a flow from the house to the backyard. Flower boxes provide an attractive way to add visual impact and barriers.
